I live in a society in which pretty much the only people allowed guns are the police and the military - that might sound threatening to some (for example Mr. Burroughs), but after reading what happened in Connecticut, it sure as hell feels safer to me to live in a country where a whole lot of crazy people can not easily get their hands on guns. My heart goes out to all the people there! I can not stop thinking about it, because I always have my childrens school in mind and what it would mean if something like this would happen there. This idea alone blows my mind and I can not imagine what those poor children, parents and teachers had and have to go through. It is like war. If everybody can have a gun, war is always too close.
